Embracing the convenience and efficiency of smart home automation can truly transform the way we interact with our living spaces. Treatlife's smart devices offers users the ability to create seamless linkages between different devices. Do you know how to leverage Treatlife's motion sensor and switch to effortlessly control your devices based on motion detection? Let's dive into the step-by-step process!

Set up an Automation to Trigger Switches Faster

  • Access the motion sensor's control page:
Start by navigating to the control page of your motion sensor, where you can manage its settings and create automation rules.

  • Tap “Setting” and then select “Automation”:
Locate the Setting icon within the motion sensor's control page. Tap on it and choose "Automation". This is where we will create our automation rule.

  • Add a new Automation rule by clicking the "+" symbol:
Look for the "+" symbol at the bottom right corner and click on it to begin setting up the rule.

  • Choose "When the Device Status Changes" as the trigger:
Select the trigger type that will initiate the automation. In this case, we want the automation to be triggered when the motion sensor's status changes. From the available device options, choose the motion sensor you wish to use for this automation. Set it to "Motion Sensor Status > Motion Detected".
Add an action to run the switch device and set it to "On":
Now it's time to determine the action that will be executed when motion is detected.
  •
  • Add the action from “Run the device” and set its status to "On." This will turn the switch on whenever motion is detected.

  • Save the settings:
Once you have configured the trigger and action, review the settings to ensure they are accurate. Then, save the automation, and you're all set!
